Special Needs School in Tomislavgrad
On 8th July 2013, the Official Opening of the Respite Centre and School for Children and Young People with Special Needs took place. The ceremony was attended by Donal O’Shea and Pat Henry who represented the charity and their generous donors. In total €190,000 was raised for the Centre with the invaluable assistance of some very kind and dedicated people. The Charity funded 42% of the project and since the completion of the building, we have donated €16,000 for the purchase of training manuals for the staff and special diagnostic equipment and books. They used some of those funds to purchase a Treadmill which is used to tire out aggressive children and young people in the Physiotherapy Room.
